In this final instalment in our series exploring all of Mark’s Gospel, Sean brings an epilogue to try and summarise what we have explored over the last 74 episodes.
What have we learned? Where do we go from here? How has it challenged our perspective on what it means call yourself ‘Christian’?
Sean returns to the beginning and concluding declarations of hope and challenge in Mark and recalls a saying from his early experience in God’s Squad.
He highlights the fragility of the apostle Peter throughout, who perhaps represents all of us in this account.
Who do we say this Jesus is?
And what are we going to do with all this?
