BBC Radio Wales are once again broadcasting 'Parkinson's & Me' documentary for 'All Things Considered on 9am Sunday 22 June, 2025. It will, as usual, be available online immediately afterwards on BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer. This 'searingly honest' programme records Sean's thoughts, questions, doubts and fears during the initial years of his Parkinson's diagnosis
On 17 June Sean, along with the programme's producer, Geoff Ballinger, took up the invitation to attend the awards ceremony at Lambeth Palace in London. They didn't return as winners, but to be selected as one of only six finalists in the radio/audio catagory is a tremendous achievement. It earned an honourable mention from the chair of Radio judges, as '... a powerful, captivating entry with beautiful story telling and a central figure who kept the judges hooked and made our jobs very difficult'.
